Exhaust Conversion (LX/DX/CX/HX to EX) (96-00 Civic)

My header was really close to touching the tranny mount bracing so i took the lower midpipe off the header and grinded a bit of the brace down a bit so it will clear, that way i dont have to worry about any rattling noises. it might have been ok but i wasnt taking a chance. your header might fit better so this might not pertain to your swap/upgrade.

Racing harnesses are pretty cool. They look rad, and they’re safe right?
Well yes and no. A racing harness is designed to be much safer than any factory 3-point seatbelt. However if you install a racing harness improperly, it can injure. Injuries can range from minor back pain to chronic back problems, to paralysis to death. I am going to show you how to install a racing harness the safe way.
Right away, know that I am no expert. I have installed a few of these, but if you have any questions, go find a shop that knows what they are doing. However, there are a few basic rules which will be covered here and will help keep you safe.
